Blush in October

Did you know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month?
Get out your blush.  Nooooo not your make up...your fancy schmancy clothes in hues, shades, and tones of *cough* pink, but its not pink.  Looks like pink, huh?  Bah-humbug!   Its not pink, its blush.  Say it with me bbbllluuussshhh! *giggle*

There are thousands of organizations across the world diligently educating people and saving lives at the hand of breast cancer.  Designers and celebrities are using their fame and status to show their support for the cause.  From blush bows to blush gowns, the cause is identified and recognized monumentally through blush.

Its not just about funding the fight for the cure, but being a part of the fight and the family for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Are you blushing yet?  Not sure what to wear or how to show your support.  Want to do more for the cause but not sure how?  Here's a few of my favs:

Save the tatas, rack, knockers, boobs, breast!!! Don't just smile with acknowledgment. Blush for October.

Daily Shoe Fetish

This Gianmarco Lorenzi cross-belt cap toe short boot. Simply divine!

The Art of Couture Bling

Its so easy to confuse the word "bling" with over-sized diamond encrusted chains, medallions, and grills (the kind you put in your mouth not the ones you cook on, lol). There are however, more classy and stylish options available. I am loving this Fall '10 collection from Eddie Borgo. This is exactly what I consider chic elegance. Flashy without being overbearing.
Your only problem would be finding an occasion to wear it all. I'm tempted to try and create the first pic for an event that I have coming up. *wink* Think I can pull it off?

Dramatic Eyelashes

I love making my eyes and my lips stand out! But for now we are going to concentrate on making eyes standout! I have discovered artistic false lashes about 8 years ago when I traveled to Japan - and it was MARVELOUS!! Back in the days, these types of lashes are just to be seen on the stage ie. theatrical. Now? It is considered to be FASHIONABLE. I say, there is a right time and place for each type or look of these lashes, so if you are going to ROCK them BE-AWARE!!!

When I traveled to Japan I just didn't discover artistic false eyelashes, I also discovered the BEST eyelash CURLER in the WORLD! Yes, I said the WORLD! You can try it for yourself! This eyelash curler can do its job especially with eyes like mine! Being part Asian could be a disadvantage in the world of BEAUTY! Not for ME!! I put extra time to make mine look more Asian, Japanese to be exact!! To all that has a lot more eyelashes try this product and you will be amazed!! This eyelash curler is from shu uemura if you can't find a store you can purchase this at SEPHORA.

I have purchased a few of these artistic eyelashes and I have used a couple. My preference? I would stick with just jet black false eyelashes! When I am not wearing false eyelashes, I am happy just curling my eyelashes with my SHU UEMURA EYELASH CURLER and putting mascara on! However, I do love the fact that I own ARTISTIC FALSE EYELASHES, they are to be adored!!!

I DARE YOU TO BE AS ARTISTIC AS YOU CAN BE!

Fall Hair Trends

Since hair is a huge part of my overall style I find it only fitting to bring you all a glimpse of some of my favorite styles for Fall. My look now is wispy, side-swept bangs with long almost waist length body wave curls. I love it! However I am already contemplating my next look...hmmmm...any suggestions?

While I have rocked the short do before I'm not particularly a big fan. That doesn't mean that I don't simply adore some of the shorter styles that are being sported this season.

Long....yes I'm a long hair kinda girl. I love flowy hair, always have. I think it suits me a bit better than the shorter or shoulder length styles that I have worn before.

Everyone knows I am extra and I heart big hair. When I wear ponytails its never because I am having a bad hair day. I always add pizazz to the look. Whether its a full ponytail style or a curly one, for some reason I just can't do the simple ponytail. For those of you that can pull off the sleek look I applaud you. I'm thinking about giving it a go, no seriously I am. We shall see how it turns out.

(BTW that first pic is only for dramatic effect! LOL)

SKIN CARE DURING PREGNANCY!! HORMONES!!!!!!!!

“Peace on earth begins with birth.” – Jeannine Parvati Baker

Being pregnant right now, I intend to be much more cautious than before. I never knew that it is a lot of caring that takes place than my normal routine! But I must keep in my mind that having a child is a BLESSING and a MIRACLE as some are having problems to conceive.

One of my main concerns now is my skin! According to my research that when one is pregnant one must be really cautious and careful on what kind of products they must use on their skin as some ingredients may be harmful. You ask how? Well, it was stated that some products/ingredients that are used reaches our veins that can be directed to the baby!! True or Not! I will not take the chances when it comes to do this! It is not time to gamble! If you are pregnant I would suggest that you should not gamble also!!

Before my pregnancy, my skin was always naturally moisture! It may be the Omega oil or fish oil that I intake! Also having my routine of exfoliation and moisturizing my whole body – that’s head to toe hunny!! Sadly now to say, since I got pregnant my skin is not so much naturally moisturize anymore – DAMN THESE HORMONES! Let’s not forget about the emotional affects of these damn things!! Anyhow, my main concern was my face! So I went on a journey to find the moisturizer that works for me and also has safe ingredients! Here it is!!!

YES!! This is my face moisturizer saviour!! My skin makes love to it everyday and it never fails to give my skin that orgasm!!! WHOA!!! What a relief when I found out the ingredients! That was the best thing ever - all natural and no Sulfates, Synthetic Dyes, Petro-Chemicals, Phthalates, GMO and Triclosan. Do your research why such ingredients may be harmful!!! This product is from Greece! I traveled there and it was an amazing journey for me!! It was romantic!! *daydreams* Wait! Let me wake up!!

Even if you are not pregnant you should try this product. You may purchase this at Sephora or just drop by their store!
