Eau De Sparkle
Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue Shoe Extravaganza |
Leave it up to me to find all things shoes and sparkly. I fell in love with these fragrance bottles from Bond No. 9 New York. They have some absolutely gorgeous bottle designs. The $1950 price tag for the swarovski clad ones pictured may be a bit on the extravagant side but they do offer more reasonable options. If nothing else they would make great conversation pieces. You can check out all they have to offer here.

Fashionable Lighting
How fashionably chic are these lamps by Angelika Morlein! Perfeft for the true fashionista or quirky art collector, the collection is just so fun and cute.
Inspired by Grand Hotel frequenters, this new collection includes all the hotel regulars – Brigitte, the French damme dressed in a pastel pink dress with pleats and ruches; Natasha, the Russian femme fatale clad in a pleated dress made of black chiffon; Chef Enrico, always recognizable in his crisp, white shirt and dark-grey Trevira-fabric apron adorned with real chef’s buttons; then there’s Gio the waiter and Miriam Miriam the chambermaid, dressed in classic black and white. These funky shades are removable and dry-cleanable, so they will always look their best. Dress your home in the finest and bring a touch of the Grand Hotel grandeur to your home. More information is available at Fabio Luciani.

Shoe Report Friday: "Artista Luna"
I first learned of Lauren Luna through my dear friend Felicia Coley of The Well-Heeled Society. Lauren was giving away a custom pair of heels at the Atlanta Black Book Expo. I followed her on twitter and have been drooling over her custom designs ever since.
Lauren is an Ohio native and holds a Bachelors of Fine Art focusing in Painting from Kent State University, a MA in Education from Manhattan College, and is currently pursuing her Masters of Fine Arts from the Academy of Art University.
Lauren recently switched her focus from the canvas to a new platform (no pun intended); shoes! I personally am glad that she did. I can't even pinpoint a favorite but I do know that I must own a pair. It's a must! The following are pics that Lauren graciously passed on to me to share with you all. I'm sure you will love her work as much as I do.

Party Dresses
'Tis my favorite time of the year and I plan to look as fab as I can at as many Holiday events that I can. So I was playing around on Polyvore (after not using the site for 3 yrs...shameful I know). Anyway, I just compiled a few cute party dresses that caught my eye. Please believe as the season goes on I will be posting more. :)

Shoe Report Friday: Black Love
For someone that loves color I am ashamed to say that over half the shoes in my closet are black. From peep-toes to sling-backs, I just can't seem to steer clear of the basic color. Everyone knows that black goes with virtually everything but black can also be used to make a statement. I'm not one to play it safe. I like to stand out, be a conversation starter. I'm so NOT afraid to be the over-dressed, fashionably put together girl in the room. So as I'm looking through my shoe closet I decided that I want to add more black heels with pizazz. These looks are on my wishlist. Let's see which ones actually make the cut.
